Answers

  1. 360 One VR Models 2 and 3 use glass construction for both the mirror and the center stage. The original 360 One VR used a glass mirror with an optical grade plastic for the center stage.

  2. The vertical field of view on the 360 One VR is symmetrical and is 50 degrees above and below the horizon, for a total of 100 degrees. We chose the 100 degree field of view as being the highest practical field of view while still keeping the entire mirror in focus. Having a larger, yet out-of-focus field of view is not helpful. 3. 360 One VR Model 3 includes a bubble level placed on the top of the optic. The Kaidan SLR Bracket (Model 2) also includes a bubble level integrated into the bracket for better visibility. We also offer a bubble level that can be affixed to the center post of a tripod or on a monopod. It can be placed in a location where it's visible by the photographer.

  4. PhotoWarp supports all the popular and industry standard formats including QuickTime VR, both cubic and cylindrical but Cubic VRs are limited to the 100 degree vertical field of view. PhotoWarp also supports, PTViewer, iSeeMedia Zoom, cylindrical and spherical, and thumbnail images. Web pages can also be dynamically generated. [back]

  5. We offer an optional SLR Bracket. In order to properly position many SLR cameras the camera, in some cases, needs to be a few inches away from the mirror. This is a function of the laws of physics. The bracket also eliminates the problem of lens backdrive. Although the 360 One VR is lightweight, some focus and/or zoom barrels of some lenses when pointed straight up will slowly sink down. Since there's no mechanical connection on the lens with the SLR bracket - this problem is solved. Another nice feature of the SLR bracket is that it provides additional distance for most conventional tripods and monopods so that you can tuck underneath the field of view and get out of the shot. We'll continue to make new and interesting accessories and drive innovation in this area. [back]

  6. We believe that the 360 One VR ($750 - MSRP) offers the best value on the market. PhotoWarp is included with every 360 One VR. The unique and powerful PhotoWarp software and the patented OptiFOV mirror shape are a significant advantage. And, you're going to see continued innovation in the EyeSee360 family of software products. [back]
