  1. No, QuickTime Authoring Studio will only stitch single-row panoramas. REALVIZ’ Stitcher or Helmut Dersch’s PanoTools are used for multi-row stitching. [back]

  2. Yes it can by using a utility from Squamish Media called RevolVR™ (Power PC Mac only), that allows single or multinode panoramas and object movies to pan automatically. It can be purchased separately or part of Squamish’s VR Enhancement Suite which includes MapsaVR, NodesaVR, RevolVR and SoundsaVR (Macintosh Power PC or compatible system). [back]

  3. REALVIZ’ Stitcher 3.0 will work on Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, NT4.0 SP3 0r higher and Mac OS 9.1 or higher. [back]

  21. Yes, by using a utility like SoundsaVR by Squamish Media. It is a standalone utility or part of the VREnhancement Suite by Squamish Media which also includes MapsaVR, NodesaVR, RevolVR and SoundsaVR (Power PC Mac only). [back]

  22. The variations in brightness and flickering was probably due to the camera exposure being set to automatic. If you use auto-exposure mode, you will get different exposures of the object as it turns from one orientation to the other. These varying exposures will cause one image to be lighter or darker with respect to its neighbors. This difference in exposure will cause the resultant object movie to flicker and pulsate when viewed. Therefore, choose and use a camera where you can lock the exposure to a specific value. [back]
