QUICKPAN III CS (Camera Specific)

The QuickPan III CS is the latest member of the QuickPan III family. Based on the new rotator design introduced with the QuickPan III Rotator Base, the QuickPan III CS provides an easy-to-use, affordable solution that is tailored to specific cameras. The QuickPan III CS supports the use of specifically designed Camera Cradles that securely grip the camera regardless of the camera's mounting surface or the location of the threaded tripod hole. These kits are for the Nikon 990, 995 880, 5000, 4500 & 5700 Coolpix Cameras. Below is a chart for each of the supported cameras and their recommended detent rings for each lens. To order this product, please be sure to order the QuickPan III Camera Specific Bracket, one of the cradle kits and at least one detent ring. Detent rings can be ordered singly below, or in multiple sets on the detent ring page. You can purchase them singly ($24.95) or sets of two ($42.95), three ($59.95) or four ($77.95). Since the QuickPan III CS is based on the QuickPan III rotator it also uses the same interchangeable detent rings and uses the same positive "roller ball" indexing plunger. This new plunger design provides a positive click stop indexing and the roller ball design minimizes wear.

* You can order multiple sets of detent rings at a discount on a separate detent ring page. ** NOTE: We recommend the use of a wide-angle lens. If using the standard lens, a parallax error may occur in close quarters. To mount the standard lens, set it at its widest setting, loosen the Captive Camera Knob, slide the camera and Camera Cradle to its farthest forward point in the long horizontal slot and tighten.
