Designed to meet the requirements of the professional panoramic photographer and discerning novices, the Pro Quick Release Camera Bracket uses an Arca-Swiss mounting plate to hold the camera securely. The Arca-Swiss mounting system is recognized and recommended by professional photographers worldwide as being the best and most compact quick-release plate system on the market today.

Arca-Swiss camera-specific plates can be purchased from many suppliers and attach to the mounting surface of your camera. They use a precision dovetail clamping system to mate your camera to the bracket. Attaching and removing your camera is as simple as loosening and tightening a single clamp knob. Many Arca-Swiss camera plates also have an additional 1/4"-20 mounting hole so you can mount your camera to any tripod in a conventional manner.

The Pro Quick Release Camera Bracket supports most digital and film cameras that are equipped with fisheye lenses, or for those users who desire or appreciate two independent sliding and locking axes of adjustment. The bracket has two independent axes of adjustment and positions the lens in such a manner so as not to capture any more of the Rotator Base than necessary. When a camera equipped with a 8mm circular fisheye lens is installed properly on the bracket, only a small segment of the Rotator Base will appear in the image. This feature makes the Pro Quick Release Camera Bracket ideal for those using iPIX software, Panoweaver (www.easypano.net) and other software applications that use fisheye images. It's also ideal for any wide-angle lens because of its compact size, light weight and ability to hold the camera and larger lenses securely.
