Spherical Camera Bracket Configuration

Designed to support most digital and film cameras and to permit the angular up/down elevation for the capture of multirow spherical and cubic panoramas. This bracket will be used with those software applications that stitch multiple rows of images, including up/down "cap" shots. Examples include, REALVIZ Stitcher and Helmut Dersch’s Panotools.

The Spherical Camera Bracket can also be positioned at a level zero degrees, thus fulfilling the same functions as the Standard Camera Bracket.

The QuickPan III Spherical Camera Bracket can be purchased with two mounting systems.

The Universal Camera Mount pictured here has a variety of mounting slots and a 1/4-20 mounting screw. It has a large mounting surface that supports many cameras, including camera that have offset tripod threads (i.e. Coolpix 990/995).

Arca-Swiss camera-specific plates can be purchased from many suppliers and attach to the mounting surface of your camera. They use a precision dovetail clamping system to mate your camera to the bracket. Attaching and removing your camera is as simple as loosening and tightening a single clamp knob. Many Arca-Swiss camera plates also have an additional 1/4"-20 mounting hole so you can mount your camera to any tripod in a conventional manner.
