 The

was made with 6 photos. The negatives were scanned with a Nikon
Coolscan III - see the small

The light weight,
compact size make it an ideal travel companion and the remarkable
15mm and 12mm rectilinear lenses offer unprecedented vertical fields-of-view.
Unlike other solutions that require a “per-click” fee for every panorama
you create, the KiWi-VL works with the leading panoramic applications
such as those from Apple, VR Toolbox and others.
With these programs and the KiWi-VL, you can create as many panoramas
as you like at no additional cost. In addition, these high-resolution
stitched panoramas can be used to create stunning panoramic prints.
They can also fill your computer screen or web page and support zooming
in without pixelation. The KiWi-VL has a slot and an indexing scale
so you position the camera’s nodal point to support the 12mm, 15mm
or any Bessa-L add-on lens you desire.
The KiWi-VL comes with the tripod head, a 2-axis bubble level, a camera
slider/positioner, a captive attachment knob and four detent discs
(5, 6, 7, 8) for the proper indexing for the 12 and 15mm lenses.
Additional detent discs (2 thru 22) are also available. You can also
purchase the KiWi-VL tripod head separately or with the Voigtlander
Bessa-L camera body, 12 or 15mm lenses, Kaidan QuickTilt™ Leveler,
and sturdy Pelican™ transport case. You can also include Photographic
VR software, such as Apple’s QuickTime VR Authoring Studio or VR Tool
box VR PanoWorx. |
Note: In addition to
the single-row KiWi-VL, the Voigtlander camera and lens can be used on our
multi-row panoramic tripod heads to create cubic QTVR panoramas with anywhere
from 6 to 12 shots.
