The KiWi™ 5000
Upgrade Kit enables 5000 photographers to use the Coolpix camera
on their existing KiWi-990 panoramic tripod head. The Upgrade Kit
consists of a sliding plastic camera cradle and a label that shows
the proper mounting locations for the standard, the new Nikon 19mm
wide-angle, the Nikon 8mm fish-eye, or any third party add on lenses.
If you are going to use the 19mm lens, we are extending a special
price on the recommended 12 position detent disc. The discs normally
sell for $24.95 each, we will offer it when purchased with the KiWi5000
Upgrade for the low price of $14.95. Order information
The camera cradle
keeps the camera securely affixed to the bracket in an upright position.
The sliding feature makes it easy to locate the nodal point of any
lens.
The
KiWi 5000 Upgrade Kit can be purchased separately or with stitching
software, utilities or transport cases. Examples include, but are
not limited to the Apple QuickTime VR Authoring
Studio, iSeeMedia PhotoVista and VR
PanoWorx/ VR Worx from VR Toolbox,
Easypano Panoweaver, Helmut Dersch’s Panotools and iPIX.
