'mapsaVR' is a fast and inexpensive way to add maps to photographic or rendered singlenode and multinode QTVR panorama movies. With 'mapsaVR', you can import overhead maps, custom marker sets, and a background image into your panorama movie. Maps and background images can be in any image file format supported by QT3.0. and when imported into the movie they will retain their format. With Apple's wired sprite technology (and a secret ingredient of our own), 'mapsaVR' allows you to place panning directional indicators directly into your 1.0 or 2.0 QTVR movies, simply and efficiently. Don't be fooled by it's deceptively simple interface, 'mapsaVR' is a powerful QT3 wired sprite editor. You can easily assign multiple maps to each movie, set the directional offset of each node pointer to align with the current map and position clickable node markers that jump the viewer to the corresponding node on the map. You can also import a background image into your movie, or select a background color, to complete your presentation. This power and flexibility gives you enhanced creative control over the virtual experience of your photographic or rendered QTVR panoramas. Because 'mapsaVR' files are exported in the QuickTime 3.0 movie file format - requiring no special plug ins - you can be confident that they will play back on computers running the Mac OS, Windows 95, or Windows NT, whether you publish to the Internet, CD ROM, or DVD. Overhead maps, directional indicators, and clickable node markers, all combine to enhance the cognitive experience of QTVR navigation. Product Features
